The part most people never see.

Two things decide whether a pool job goes well: what gets included, and how we behave on your property. We are specific about both.

  • Communication. Heads up before arriving at the job site.
  • At the job site. The client would like to be at the job site and would like to review the work prior to the crew leaving or paying the final invoice.
  • Reviews. The client reviews the project during each phase.
  • Access. We need to request access each visit.
  • We discuss your special requests and agree which items belong in the written scope. Note: We only include items in the package if the customer would like the task completed or if it is absolutely necessary for safety reasons or to comply with local or city code.
  • Licensed, bonded and insured. C-53 Contractor License No. 1098868. Check the current license, bond and insurance records with CSLB. Review the product and workmanship warranty terms for your selected work before signing.

Our advantage

  • Competitive pricing. We price match competing prices.
  • Communication. Consistent and constant communication.
  • Project scheduling. Ask about the next available start date. Scheduling depends on the agreed scope, required approvals and current availability.
  • Workmanship warranties. Ask for the warranty terms that apply to your selected finish and work.

“We had our pool remolded by CPR Pools, all coping, plaster, and tile were replaced. Aron was our project manager and he kept us informed throughout the process. There were a few changes to job as we went through, but Aron was able to accommodate our requests with relative ease. We are very happy with the results and love our new pool!”

“Robert from CPR Pools was great to work with. He was very knowledgeable, took his time, and clearly explained everything we needed. Really appreciated how thorough and easy he made the whole walkthrough. Highly recommend!”

“We recently had our pool resurfaced by CPR Pools, and I couldn't be happier with the results! If you are considering giving your pool a fresh look, I cannot recommend them enough. We decided to go with a composite material for the resurfacing, and the difference is night and day. Not only does the pool look absolutely stunning and brand new, but the texture is incredibly smooth and comfortable-a huge upgrade from our very old, rough and cracked plaster.”

“They have done a few different jobs for us. First they installed new tiles and mini pebble. Then we converted to a salt water pool and most recently they replaced our old filter. Everything was taken care of quickly and it all looks and works great. Would definitely recommend”

Questions before you start.

A few practical answers about your pool project.

What is the difference between remodeling and resurfacing?

Resurfacing replaces the interior finish of a pool or spa with plaster or mini pebble. A remodel can also include tile, coping, decking and other features around the pool. Explore pool remodeling or pool resurfacing.

Do you work on commercial pools as well as home pools?

Yes. CPR Pools works on residential pools and commercial pools, including those at apartment buildings, HOAs, gyms, retirement homes, hotels and resorts. See commercial pool remodeling.

What are the stages of building a new pool?

The process starts with design and permits, followed by excavation, steel, plumbing and electrical work, and shotcrete for the shell. Coping, waterline tile, decking and backyard accessories come next, then equipment, the plaster or pebble finish, filling and startup. See new pool construction.

Who takes care of startup after a new pool is filled?

CPR Pools handles the first two weeks of startup. After that, you need to hire a pool maintenance technician to continue the startup process and care for the pool.
